Common Troubleshooting & Solutions
Rewarded Ad Not Crediting?
If you watched a rewarded video but your coins or stage hint were not awarded:
- Wait for full completion: Rewarded ad callbacks fire only when the video concludes completely and the reward dialog shows.
- Check Ad-Blockers/Private DNS: Tools like AdGuard, Blokada, or custom DNS can intercept the AdMob verification ping.
- Network stability: Ensure an uninterrupted Wi-Fi or 4G/5G connection while the ad plays.
Progress & Save Restoration
Arrowly currently preserves game progression on local device storage:
- Do not clear app storage: Tapping “Clear All Data” in Android system settings will erase local levels and coin balances.
- Device switching: We are actively building Google Play Games cloud sync for automatic cross-device progression in upcoming updates.
Audio or Haptic Feedback Off?
If sound effects, background music, or vibration haptics are silent:
- Tap the Settings gear icon on the main menu to confirm Sound/Music/Vibration toggles are active.
- Verify your phone is not in “Silent” or “Do Not Disturb” mode.
- On some Android devices, system haptic settings must be enabled in device settings.
Unlocking Arrow & Grid Themes
Custom visual themes can be unlocked in the in-game Shop:
- Earn coins by beating puzzle levels or watching optional rewarded ads.
- Select and activate unlocked themes from the customization menu.
- Theme unlocks are saved immediately to local persistent storage.
