Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of GPS Speedometer: Simple & Fast (the “App”), provided by Plexer Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1.About the App
GPS Speedometer: Simple & Fast is a utility that can display an estimated speed using your device's location services. Depending on the version and features available, the App may also provide trip recording, speed alerts, maps, a head-up display, trip history, and other tools.
Features may vary by device, operating system, location, permissions, internet connection, and App version.
2.GPS accuracy and driving safety
The App's speed, distance, location, and other measurements are estimates. GPS accuracy can be affected by your device, satellite visibility, buildings, tunnels, weather, signal interference, and other conditions. Readings may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
The App is not a certified speed-measuring instrument, safety device, navigation service, or substitute for your vehicle's instruments, road signs, traffic laws, or your own judgment.
You are responsible for operating your vehicle safely, observing speed limits, and complying with applicable laws. Set up the App before travelling. Do not interact with your device while driving where it would be unsafe or unlawful to do so.
Speed alerts may not activate immediately or in every situation. Do not rely on them as your only method of monitoring speed.
3.Location permissions
The App requires access to your device's location to display GPS-based speed and provide location-related features.
If you start a trip, the App may continue accessing location while the App is in the background or the screen is off so that it can record the trip. You can stop recording in the App and manage location permissions through your device settings.
If location access is denied or disabled, some features may not work.

4.Trip history and device data
Trip records are stored on your device. You are responsible for any records you wish to keep.
Trip history may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its data, reset or replace your device, or experience a device or storage failure. Where available, you can export or share trip information using the App's controls.
5.Maps and third-party services
The App may use third-party services, including Google Maps and Google Play, to provide certain features. Map services may require an internet connection and may be unavailable or inaccurate in some areas.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability.
6.Advertising
Some versions or features of the App may display advertisements. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising providers.
When advertising is introduced, information about the providers and relevant data practices will be described in our Privacy Policy. The availability and placement of ads may change over time.
7.Premium features and purchases
If offered, Premium features may be purchased through Google Play. The features included, price, currency, and purchase terms will be shown before you complete a purchase.
A Premium purchase may be offered as a one-time purchase rather than a recurring subscription. Your purchase is associated with the Google account used to make it, and access may depend on Google Play's purchase and account services.
Premium features may include an ad-free experience and additional gauge designs. The exact benefits will be described in the App and on Google Play when Premium becomes available.
We may update, improve, or change features over time. Any changes will be subject to applicable law and will not remove any rights you cannot legally waive.
8.Refunds and purchase support
Purchases made through Google Play may be subject to Google Play's refund policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
For problems with a purchase, including a purchase that was not delivered or does not work as described, contact us at support@plexerlabs.com. You may also request a refund through Google Play where available.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, withdrawal, repair, or other rights you have under applicable law.
9.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or its related services.
- Attempt to bypass purchase restrictions or access paid features without authorization.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App except where permitted by law or with our permission.
10.Intellectual property
The App, including its design, graphics, branding, and software, is owned by or licensed to Plexer Labs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
11.Changes and availability
We may update the App, add or remove features, or discontinue parts of the App. Availability may also be affected by device compatibility, third-party services, or technical issues.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
12.Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plexer Labs is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate or delayed GPS readings, unavailable services, loss of locally stored trip data, or reliance on the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
